Product Description The U100 has selected a 10" wide LCD display as oppose to the typical smaller sizes to provide better comfort while viewing or reading. In addition, the 1024 x 600 resolution can relief concerns of the full display of web pages while browsing, giving you the freedom when exploring the Internet. The U100 is embedded with the LED power-saving backlight technology in providing better color fullness and brightness, elevating the total quality of imagery. Furthermore, the lower usage of power can offer a longer operating time. The U100 is equipped with the capability of magnifying text within software, so you may magnify any of the words displayed on the monitor freely, making it easier when you are viewing photos, editing or reading documents.

| Customer Reviews: Terrific -go for it November 18, 2009 Louisa May Alcott (Potsdam, NY USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Love this little netbook. Screen and imagery is terrific for its size. I also have an Acer Aspire One, which I also like, but the slightly larger screen of this works much better for me, and I also like the fact that you don't have to scroll as much. It will even run my powerpoint through a digital projector fine, except that it can't handle playing the imbedded video. Plays the video fine if not imbedded. The keyboard is comfortable, and I actually like the rocker mouse a great deal. I find it really easy to use and I like it better than the usual laptop mouse. This netbook is speedy for its size, and operates well on the internet from my use. Quite powerful for its size as well. So far it seems very well made and durable as well. In short, I like everything about it!
Sturdy Little Performer -- At a Great Price January 21, 2010 D. Berkley (Fox River Valley, WI USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've had this netbook for about six weeks now, and I'm pleased with it!
The processor grinds through its work at a pretty good clip. Although the 1G of memory that comes with this unit is considered the minimum amount by today's standards, the computer hasn't choked on any tasks that I've thrown at it, including some graphics and desktop-publishing work. Besides, the familiar-and-reliable Windows XP operating system is not a memory hog. I'm happy to be using XP. With a wireless connection to my home router, the machine delivers Internet content, including video, without a hitch.
The MSI seems to be a bit more solidly built than the Acer unit I once used at work. I connect the computer to a large monitor and full-sized keyboard when I work at home. However, when I use the netbook by itself at a coffee shop, library, or other location, the vivid 10" display is quite satisfactory and, with a few motor-skill adjustments, I'm able to crank out plenty of text on the keyboard.
I did my research before buying and I believe I found the best value. This machine is well-constructed, comes with specs matching or exceeding those of competing netbooks, and even has an on-board webcam of higher resolution and quality than those found on other similarly priced units. Considering this MSI's price tag of under $300, this unit is a great buy!
